Returns Policy

What items can be returned?

In accordance with the Australia Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC), products that are broken or faulty may be returned for repair, replacement or a refund. 

However Architects of Skin (AoS) or Avention Global Pty Ltd (AG) will not provide a refund or return if a customer:

  • receives what they asked for but simply changed their mind,
  • found it cheaper somewhere else,
  • decided they did not like the purchase, 
  • had no use for it, or
  • placed an incorrect order.

What is a faulty/broken good?

A product or good has a major problem when:

  • it has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they’d known about it,
  • it is unsafe,
  • it is significantly different from the sample or description, or
  • it doesn’t do what the business said it would, or what you asked for and can’t easily be fixed.

How does AoS/AG determine broken or faulty good?

Architects of Skin (AoS) or Avention Global Pty Ltd (AG) both require video/photographic proof of the damage or fault, which will then be passed on to the manufacturer for consideration. 

Returns and refunds will only be provided if the good(s) are judged as faulty or damaged as per the manufacturers standards, and not simply as a consequence of customer error.

Moreover, Architects of Skin (AoS) or Avention Global Pty Ltd (AG) are happy to provide further instruction or training for any of their products, should a customer require such assistance.

    How do I return an item?

    Please email any complaints or enquiries to info@architectsofskin.com

    Specify the fault or broken item in as much detail as possible, and provide video/photographic evidence of the item inquestion.

    Once confirmation has been given by Architects of Skin (AoS) or Avention Global Pty Ltd (AG), post the item(s) to the Head Office. 

    When do items need to be returned by?

    All customers have 7 days to return a faulty or broken item to Architects of Skin (AoS) or Avention Global Pty Ltd (AG).

    Where do items need to be returned to?

    All faulty or broken item(s) are to be returned to:

    • Suite 50, 23 Narabang Way, Belrose NSW 2085, Australia.

    Shipping?

    Neither Architects of Skin (AoS) nor Avention Global Pty Ltd (AG)  will not refund the cost of returning a product(s). Shipping costs are at the customer's own expense.

    Can I apply for a Credit Note?

    In the case of a returned item, Architects of Skin (AoS) or Avention Global Pty Ltd (AG) will reissue a new invoice to the customer, taking into consideration any used or sold products.

    Credit notices will only be provided if requested.

    Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

    Packing materials?

    Since many of our products are quite fragile, customers are encouraged to provide some means of protecting them on the return to our Head Office. Customers will be provided packing materials in their original delivery, which can be used for the return of faulty or broken stock.
